Jr. Systems Development Engineer

AbelCine is a leading HD technology supplier to the broadcast, motion picture and new media industries. With offices in NY, CHI and LA, our company offers sales, service, rental and training for the professional production community. Our IT Services Department in Burbank, CA is seeking a full time Jr. Systems Development Engineer to join our staff. We have a highly customized CRM and ERP solution with ongoing development and implementation projects in the queue. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, hard working developer to work in a SalesForce based platform that powers all aspects of our fast-paced and growing organization.

This position is a key role in our IT Services Department that would encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and completion of projects for IT Services
  • On-going support of our systems, including bug fixing and maintenance
  • Develop and implement tools and interfaces to improve system efficiency and accuracy
  • Meet regularly with key stakeholders in various departments to identify improvements and develop and scope solutions
  • Provide training on all new applications and functionality as part of the rollout for our key staff members

Successful applicants should possess the following attributes:

  • BS in Computer Science, related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1+ years experience coding web applications with Javascript, JQuery, PHP, HTML, CSS, with databases.
  • 1+ years experience as a consultant or solutions developer implementing customer projects.
  • Experience as a Salesforce administrator a plus
  • Experience with Skuid on Salesforce a major plus
  • Highly organized and efficient work ethic
  • Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively  facilitate training on functionality of the system
