We are currently seeking a Branded Merchandise & E-Commerce Coordinator to support one of our clients in their fast-paced Conference and Events Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent college graduate with a background in retail or e-commerce who is highly organized, eager to learn, and passionate about branded merchandise, marketing, and logistics.
This hands-on role will support the day-to-day operations of a high-profile online merchandise store and assist with broader branded merchandise initiatives. Approximately 70% of the role will focus on the online store, with the remaining 30% supporting merchandise-related projects for marketing events and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of a corporate online merchandise store
- Fulfill orders from start to finish, coordinating with third-party vendors on logistics and shipping
- Track seasonal inventory and update sales reports and presentations
- Process and track invoices with proper coding and approvals
- Work with fulfillment partners on international and domestic shipping, customs, and logistics
- Merchandise and maintain product assortments that align with brand needs and market demand
- Manage sample inventory and coordinate delivery of merchandise for events
- Ensure a seamless online customer experience by testing site navigation and product listings
- Monitor customer service inquiries and coordinate resolutions
- Support in-person events by coordinating branded giveaways, packaging, and product displays
- Provide data-driven insights on product performance and inventory planning
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure alignment across merchandise initiatives
- Coordinate decoration and customization of products (e.g., embroidery, debossing) using local NYC vendors
Qualifications:
- Recent college graduate with a degree in merchandising, marketing, business, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or merchandising (internships or part-time roles welcome)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage vendors, logistics, and fulfillment processes
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and inventory or order management tools
- Interest in corporate gifting, branded merchandise, or event marketing a plus
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Able to lift and move boxes or samples up to 25 lbs as needed
- Occasional local travel for client events required
