Job Title: Branded Merchandise & E-Commerce Coordinator

Compensation: $2,000 – $2,500 per week, based on experience
AbelCine is a full-service equipment and technology provider serving the broadcast, production, and new media industries. In addition to providing gear and technical solutions, AbelCine also offers crewing and staffing services to support projects across these sectors. We currently have a temp opportunity for a highly organized and motivated Branded Merchandise & E-Commerce Coordinator to join our clients' fast-paced Conference and Events Management team. This is a unique opportunity to support a dynamic group of professionals in managing our client's online merchandise store and assist with branded merchandise initiatives across various events and campaigns.
This role is ideal for someone with strong project management skills, a keen eye for merchandising, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. Approximately 70% of the role will focus on the online store, and the remaining 30% on broader branded merchandise and event-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the development and day-to-day operations of ShopBlackstone
- Lead sales operations from order creation to final delivery, including third-party coordination
- Update seasonal inventory reports and sales presentations
- Track and process invoices, assigning appropriate cost codes and seeking approvals
- Work with third-party partners on fulfillment, shipping, customs, and logistics
- Merchandise and optimize assortments to fit various markets while minimizing liability
- Support third-party account management and internal growth initiatives
- Coordinate with Marketing to ensure all collateral is received and integrated
- Analyze sales data to inform product decisions and reduce liability stock
- Own and maintain the branded merchandise sample closet
- Optimize website merchandising, product attribution, and customer experience
- Serve as lead for customer service inquiries related to ShopBlackstone
- Manage logistics for on-site events, samples, and internal/external shipments
- Perform on-site testing to ensure accurate site navigation and correct errors
- Provide product performance insights to influence assortment decisions
- Leverage knowledge of decoration methods (embroidery, debossing, etc.) and local NYC vendors
- Occasional travel for client-facing events in the Tri-State area
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, business, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in merchandising, retail operations, events, or project coordination
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Experience managing vendors and third-party logistics or fulfillment partners
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and inventory/sales tracking tools
- Understanding of e-commerce merchandising best practices and customer experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Experience with branded merchandise, corporate gifting, or promotional products a plus
- Prior exposure to custom apparel and accessory production methods preferred
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
