Level 3 AV Technician - (Corporate AV / Microsoft Teams Rooms) – Temp-to-Perm
AbelCine, a premier provider of equipment and technology solutions for the broadcast, production, and new media industries, is seeking an experienced Level 3 AV Technician to provide onsite support for one of our key clients in the Dallas/Frisco area. This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately one month, with the potential to transition into a longer-term employment opportunity based on business needs and performance.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on AV professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused approach. The Level 3 AV Technician will provide day-to-day support for audiovisual, collaboration, meeting room, and event technologies, including troubleshooting AV systems, supporting live events and executive meetings, assisting end users, and coordinating with IT teams and outside vendors to quickly resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite AV technical support for meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, event spaces, digital signage, and immersive display environments.
- Diagnose and resolve AV hardware, software, configuration, connectivity, and user-related issues.
- Support live meetings and events, including audio/video switching, presentation and slide management, video playback, display routing, and real-time troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support for executive meetings, client meetings, training sessions, and special events.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms and related collaboration technologies.
- Troubleshoot devices that have lost network connectivity or become deregistered from management platforms and coordinate with IT/network teams as needed.
- Diagnose failed or damaged AV equipment and peripherals.
- Coordinate warranty repairs, vendor/OEM escalations, equipment replacement, and post-repair testing.
- Perform equipment health checks and meeting-room readiness inspections.
- Troubleshoot display inputs, cabling, disconnected equipment, room configurations, and wireless presentation systems.
- Support digital signage and immersive display content.
- Maintain accurate incident, troubleshooting, and resolution documentation.
- Coordinate with IT, Facilities, vendors, and other technical teams to resolve issues and restore service.
- Validate AV functionality following repairs, network changes, equipment replacements, or system updates.

The technician will also provide basic troubleshooting and user support for Meta Quest devices.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated professional experience supporting enterprise AV, conferencing, collaboration, and meeting-room technologies.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms and modern AV collaboration systems.
- Experience troubleshooting AV hardware, cabling, displays, signal paths, peripherals, and connectivity issues.
- Experience providing technical support during live meetings and events.
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and remain composed while resolving issues in real time.
- Strong customer-service skills and ability to provide professional support to executives, clients, and other end users.
- Ability to work effectively with IT, networking, Facilities, AV vendors, and equipment manufacturers.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues through resolution.
- Flexibility to support changing priorities and time-sensitive meeting or event requirements.
Physical Effort:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in and around AV equipment and meeting spaces.
- Ability to work beneath tables, behind displays, in equipment racks, and in other confined or difficult-to-access areas.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and reposition AV equipment, cases, cables, and related materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance when appropriate.
- Ability to use hand tools and connect, disconnect, and troubleshoot AV cabling and equipment.
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and equipment testing.
- Ability to work at a computer or workstation for portions of the day.

- Compensation Range: $1,500 - $1,700 per week
