With offices in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, we support professionals through sales, rentals, training, financing, and technical services. Our mission is to provide creative solutions and expert guidance to the production community.  We are currently seeking a client-focused Rental Sales Manager to lead our dynamic New York rental team. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving team performance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in equipment rentals or production, technical knowledge of camera systems, and a passion for cultivating team and client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for high-profile clients, managing complex rental jobs from start to finish
  • Lead, mentor, and support the rental team with daily guidance, training, and scheduling
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing, client-service-driven team culture
  • Actively grow business through strategic lead generation and relationship-building
  • Oversee the volume and accuracy of rental orders, working cross-functionally with sales, service, and training teams
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media or Film Production or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment rental or production (film/TV/broadcast), with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage teams and client relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of professional camera systems and support gear
  • Ability to lead, manage and mentor technical and administrative staff
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with FileMaker Pro is a plus
  • Flexibility to support clients outside of standard hours when needed
  • Prior experience as Production Manager or Producer is a big plus

Physical Effort:

  • Prolonged sitting and standing work at a computer, requiring frequent use of monitors
  • Manual dexterity and mobility are required
  • Standing and walking for the duration of the work shift
  • Occasional reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching
  • Occasional lifting or moving supplies and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs., including items located above shoulder level

Location: Brooklyn, NY 

Status: Full-Time, On-Site, Exempt

Compensation Range: $77,000 - $115,000
