Accounting Coordinator

AbelCine is a leading provider of products and services to the broadcast, production, and new media industries. We support filmmakers, broadcasters, content creators, and enterprise clients through equipment sales, rentals, service, production staffing, and technology solutions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Coordinator to join our Accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong accounting fundamentals, and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and timely
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly
  • Assist with maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Input financial data into accounting software and ERP systems
  • Support monthly and year-end closing processes
  • Assist with preparing and submitting tax forms, including sales tax reporting
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing issues
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
  • Experience working with QuickBooks, Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Status: Full-Time, On-Site, Non-Exempt

Compensation: $70,000
